ด้วยลักษณะของหมึกโวยวาย จิ๋วแต่แจ๋ว หนวด 8 เส้นมีไว้คอยจับเหยื่อ หาอาหาร จึงเป็นที่มาของสัญลักษณ์ “ครัวโวยวาย”

อาหารพื้นถิ่นภูเก็ตที่หาทานได้ยาก สูตรและกรรมวิธีการปรุงอาหารรสมือ “แม่เฒ่า” ถ่ายทอดสู่ลูกหลาน เมนูอาหารที่ใช้วัตถุดิบจากธรรมชาติที่มีเฉพาะในพื้นถิ่นตามฤดูกาลแตกต่างกันไป

“Woi Wai Squid” is the name locals in Southern Thailand use for a small reef octopus. They are often found hiding under coral rubble, lured out using crabs or small bait. In Phuket, they can be spotted around Laem Ka and Rawai Beach. With its tiny yet remarkable nature – eight arms used to capture prey and search for food – this little octopus inspired the symbol of “Krua Woi Wai”, under the concept:

“Whenever you come to my home, I will cook the very best of my home for you.”
