5 Cocktail Drinks that are Perfect for the Beach

Beach-related activities like snorkeling, surfing, or jet skiing provide tons of fun. However, you don’t have to there when you can try beach volleyball, beach soccer, or even ultimate frisbee. You can also go for an island-hopping adventure to see more of the area’s natural wonders.

Despite the fun memories that these activities provide, they can take a toll on your body, especially if you try to pack several itineraries in one day. This condition will leave you wanting a massage or merely wanting to relax for another day of activities. Perhaps you’re looking for a bottle of beer to destress after a lengthy day.

Instead, you can even try out a few refreshing cocktail drinks. However, you must maintain responsible drinking while consuming these cocktails and use disposable cups instead to avoid cleaning broken glasses that can injure others. Likewise, determine if the beach where you are staying allows drinking by the shore. Otherwise, you will have to consume your drink at the hotel bar.

With that, here are five mixes that bartenders love to prepare.

1. Orange Crush

One of the more popular cocktail drinks among bartenders includes 1 ½ ounce of vodka, half an ounce of Triple Sec, and fresh orange juice. Combine these ingredients with Sprite and ice, and you will have yourself a refreshing drink with a touch of alcohol. However, you can’t shake this drink because the soda can spill over the cup. Try alternating the citrus with grapefruit for a different taste.

2. Blood Orange Cosmo

If you can’t shake Orange Crush, you do so with Blood Orange Cosmo before consuming it. Its ingredients include 1 ½ ounce of blood orange-infused vodka, half an ounce of Triple Sec Curacao liqueur, fresh lime, cranberry juice, and ice. You can request for crushed ice as well to make it easier to consume.

3. Blue Hawaiian

Hawaii is synonymous with the beach, and you can have a taste of their flavors wherever you are. Blue Hawaiian includes two ounces of coconut rum, an ounce of Blue Curacao, an ample amount of Pineapple juice, and ice. Shake this cocktail drink well before consuming it to savor a taste of The Aloha State.

4. Mai Tai

It’s an appropriate drink for relaxing in chairs while watching the captivating sunset. This refreshing blend is prepared with a tinge of alcohol, an ounce of Silver rum, and another ounce of Myers rum that is created from Jamaican sugarcane. Blend this with half an ounce of Triple sec, half an ounce of lime juice, cranberry juice, and ice to enjoy a flavorful delight.

5. The Corsican Cocktail

A serving of this drink contains 13 ounces of cold Lillet Blanc, seven ounces of limoncello, and a ten-ounce bottle of chilled club soda. This cocktail also contains elderflower syrup and fresh lemon juice for more flavors. You can upgrade this blend by adding lemon twists, as well. Mix everything except the soda in a container that fits your cooler and keep it chilled until you pour yourself a glass.
